About me

Caring for people has been my life's work.

My name is Anaflor, though most people know me as Anna. For over three decades I've worked as a nurse — and today I bring that same precision and compassion to acupuncture.

Welcome to Anaflor Acupuncture

Anaflor — most people call me Anna.

Registered General Nurse · 1989Lic.Ac. · Acupuncture Foundation IrelandFacial Rejuvenation · Michelle Gellis20 yrs vascular theatre nursing

Caring for people has been at the heart of my life’s work for over three decades. I have worked as a Registered General Nurse since 1989 and began my career in operating theatre nursing in 1993. Over the years, I have worked across several surgical specialties, including 20 years as a vascular theatre nurse in one of Dublin’s major hospitals — where precision, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care were part of everyday practice.

I have also had the opportunity to work internationally in Abu Dhabi and briefly in San Diego, California — experiences that broadened my clinical knowledge and understanding of patient care across different healthcare settings and cultures.

My journey into acupuncture began on a personal level in 2010, while searching for natural support for allergic rhinitis, fertility, and overall wellbeing. Experiencing the benefits of acupuncture firsthand inspired me to study holistic healing professionally.

In 2025, I graduated from Acupuncture Foundation Ireland after completing a three-year programme and earning my Licentiate in Acupuncture. I later continued my training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with internationally renowned practitioner Michelle Gellis, focusing on natural approaches to healthy skin, balance, and wellbeing.

My aim is to create a calm and welcoming space where each treatment is tailored to the individual — helping clients feel supported, cared for, and empowered in their health journey.

How I practice

Three commitments, every session.

Tailored to you

No two treatments are the same. Every session begins with listening and is shaped around your health, history, and goals.

Clinically grounded

Over 30 years of nursing means sterile technique, safety, and precision aren't add-ons — they're second nature.

Supported & empowered

You should leave feeling cared for and in charge of your own health journey — never rushed, never pressured.

“My aim is a calm and welcoming space — where you feel supported, cared for, and empowered in your health journey.”
